As I begin to think of layouts for the squares I find that laying them out to play with them is the best way to find what works. Here are tentative layout possiblities. As it gets closer to sewing together I may shift and change- always fun to consider the before and after pics!
oh mary, i LOVE that idea with the soccer jerseys!! i had the idea of doing that same thing with my kids baby clothes. actually found someone to do it for me as my sewing skills are kept to repairs and making covers for throw pillows. when she told me she had to cut the clothes in half so the quilt wouldn't be bulky - i bolted. guess i'm not ready for that yet. love the pictures and directions you post to show how you did the work! i also love your gardening blog, too. i'm gonna try to find that book in the library as i think a raised garden would be probalby be a great idea here!
